West View Elementary
We have sign-up forms for anyone interested in mentoring or helping with the students. We also have teacher “Wish Lists.” For more information, look in the Atrium or contact Brittany Hopper.

S.O.S—Service on the Strip—serves pancakes from 11pm -1am on Friday nights with a home UT game.
Healthcare & Education Programs
Our Parish Nurse provides routine healthcare and educational programs.
Volunteer Ministry Center (VMC)
Our congregation supports VMC and serves the homeless by providing food and food service for a breakfast and lunch each month at the Center. Individuals or groups from 2nd Pres also volunteer to prepare and serve breakfast and other meals twice a month at the Volunteer Ministry Center of Knoxville.
More volunteers are welcome to help on the third Saturday of every month. The group meets at the church at 10:30am to load up the food, which is provided by the church, and takes it to the VMC for preparation.

FISH
The FISH team of volunteers meets on the fourth Tuesday of each month to receive emergency food requests, purchase and pack bags, and deliver food to hungry families in Knox County. You can help in a variety of ways. Contribute to the FISH Fund through the church financial office or donate specific items and drop them by the church office.
We also need teams of two to make deliveries. If you can volunteer for an hour or two between 11:30am and 1:30pm on the fourth Tuesday of each month, please call the FISH coordinator, Lynda May, at 865-XXX-XXXX.
Beyond
- Ongoing efforts in Nicaragua including missions trip.
- We also support Synod missions such as Living Waters for the World.
- Each year, 2nd Pres supports four missionary families with the mission budget and other funds.
